The Neapolitan Masters Competition

ONLINE INTERNATIONAL PIANO EDITION

What is?

The Neapolitan Masters Competition organize the Online International Piano Edition, in cooperation with Ernst Krause Berlin Piano represented by Krause Musical Instrument (Yantai)Co. Ltd.
The organization continues to offer, despite the global emergency, the opportunity for pianists with the possibilities offered by the online mode.
The Pianists will start their careers with important musical experiences with World Piano Tours, Scholarships and Professional Recording, Awards: over € 20.000 in prizes The Jury is composed by the most important international Musicians.

The Competition is official member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.

 

We have a Code of Ethics:

The Pianists who within the last two years have studied on a regular basis with any member of the 2020 International Jury, are ineligible to participate at Competition.

The First Prize

The winner of the competition will be offered:

 

  • Awards: over € 20.000 in prizes
  • Piano Tour in Europe and Asia
  • Piano offered by Ernst Krause Berlin Piano represented by Krause Musical Instrument (Yantai)
  • The recordings of the winner will be sent to record companies in partnership
  • The opportunity to will be invited in international music festival partners

The Rules

Please choose your category, take a video recording of your performance (Make sure jury can see your hands) and upload it one of these channels: Youtube, Tencent, Youku, Vimeo online sharing service engine,  (either public or unlisted private video is fine)  then send us the link of your video to application form. 

You can send every piece in one video, or is possible to assemble more performances in an only video.

Giuseppe Devastato is a pianist and composer recognized by international critics as one of the most exciting pianists of his generation. He has worked in the most important theaters in Europe America and Asia and he won two international awards to Global Music Awards in Los Angeles - USA. He is co-founder the President of Jury of Competition

Conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre
Alexey Bogorad is the resident conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, he Recorded for Columbia records and he performs as guest conductor at various symphony orchestras. He was invited to conduct the piano finals of the XV Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow, live-streamed by Medici TV

Founder of the Gradus Piano School
Martin Lysholm Jepsen is a Pianist and founder of the Gradus Piano School in Aarhus - Denmark. Since the 2016 he is as teacher at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus and he is the founder and artistic director of the Gradus International Piano Festival in Musikhuset

Gen Li was born in China and he won the First Prize at the Birmingham International Piano Competition and he performs at many of the world finest venues. He now regularly serves as a Jury member of many international piano competitions

He is the Founder and Artistic Director of the ‘Neapolitan Masters Competition’ with European and Asian Edition, Mimas Festivals and Accademia Musicale Europea. He is co-founder and CEO of NOMEA

OUR STORY

Previous Editions

The Neapolitan Masters Competition was created to give young musicians great musical opportunities and to bring a high level competition back to one of the world’s capitals of music: Naples – Italy. In past editions, young musicians from all over the world participated.
After the great success in Europe, we inaugurated the Asian edition in Malaysia in February 2020, for the first time a music competition exported its format to another continent.
We are waiting for you for this new opportunity with the international online edition built with the collaboration of great musicians and the best experts in the digital sector.
